Transmutation Transmission Tower

RISD Museum, Wonderground 2006

In this installation visiters were invited to transmit secret messages to cosmos via percussave musical arrangements (horrible noises) made by pulling on ropes inside of the tower. The ropes were connected to various clanging, clattering things: bells, cymbols, pots, pans, lost keys etc. The outside was spotted with 3 tiny windows to alternate universes that viewers could spy into...but only for a moment!!
